The Missing
Infrastructure.
Over 200,000 Working Holiday Visa holders arrive in Australia each year. They power regional agriculture, hospitality, and construction. Yet there is no purpose-built platform connecting them with employers, each other, or the compliance tools they need. We're building it.

Arrivals: Australia had 220,622 active Working Holiday (subclass 417/462) visa holders as of April 2025, up from 170,437 a year earlier — Australian Government Department of Home Affairs visa holder data (published via data.gov.au). "$3.2B" market size is our own internal estimate of platform-relevant annual spend (jobs, accommodation, banking, insurance, compliance) across that population, not an independently audited figure.
The Problem We're Solving
Three groups with the same problem, none of them able to fix it alone.
Workers Arrive Blind
Most WHV holders land with no job lined up, no community, and no idea where to start. They rely on Facebook groups, hostel notice boards, and recruitment agencies charging fees we estimate at $2,000–$5,000 (not independently sourced).
Employers Can't Plan
Regional employers face chronic seasonal shortages. Workers hired through informal channels are unreliable. High no-shows, poor retention, and no visibility into incoming supply.
Compliance Is Manual
Tracking 88-day regional work requirements and 6-month employer limits is done in spreadsheets — or not at all. Both employers and workers are exposed to risk they often don't know they're carrying.
What We Believe
Three bets that, if correct, make this a durable business.
Groups Beat Individuals
Workers who travel in pods stay longer, perform better, and refer others. The Pod model turns a retention problem into a growth mechanic. Every pod that forms is a distribution channel.
Compliance Is a Product
Every employer in regional Australia eventually needs to prove their workers met regional requirements. We make that effortless. Compliance tools become the stickiest part of the platform.
Pre-Arrival Is the Moat
We reach workers while they're still planning their trip — 3 to 6 months before arrival. A worker who lines up their first job through us before landing has no reason to go anywhere else.
How We Make Money
Three revenue layers that reinforce each other.
Employer Listings
Free to post one role. Subscription for unlimited listings, priority placement, and access to pod applications. Regional employers with ongoing seasonal needs become recurring revenue.
Worker Subscriptions
Free tier covers job search and basic pod features. Premium unlocks compliance tracking, visa deadline alerts, and priority matching. Priced for backpacker budgets: under $15/month.
Adjacent Services
Workers need accommodation, insurance, bank accounts, and SIM cards on arrival. As platform trust grows, we can either integrate partners or build these ourselves. High intent, captured audience.
Why Now
The conditions that make this window real.
Post-COVID Recovery
WHV arrivals collapsed during the pandemic and are rebounding fast. Regional employers are competing harder than ever for seasonal labour. The urgency has never been higher.
Regulatory Pressure
Compliance requirements around regional work verification are tightening. The Australian Government is actively expanding oversight. Every new regulation increases demand for what we're building.
Digital-Native Workers
Today's WHV cohort plans their trip entirely online. They expect to find work, connect with other travellers, and manage their visa obligations through an app. That app doesn't exist yet.
Where We Are
We're early. Here's what's honest.
Platform Is Live
The core product — job listings, pod formation, compliance tracking, employer profiles — is built and deployed. We're in alpha, onboarding users and working out what matters most.
Employer Relationships Forming
Direct outreach to regional employers is underway. We're building relationships with agricultural operators, hospitality groups, and labour hire agencies. Early conversations are positive.
Looking for Aligned Partners
We're not raising a round right now. We're looking for people who understand this market and want to be involved early — as advisors, angels, or strategic partners — before the obvious moment arrives.
If this resonates, let's talk
We share our thinking, product direction, and progress with people who get it. No pitch deck required. Just a conversation.
